Tecker provides maintenance, repair, optimisation, commissioning and emergency breakdown callout services for the Water, Waste Water, Food Processing, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Mines and Quarries and Marine Industries, using a highly skilled and dedicated team of professionals for all your processing-plant equipment and automation solutions.
At Tecker we focus on predication and prevention, and are always conscious of the need to avoid costly interruptions to production. We work with the customer to help plan maintenance by offering a range of service contracts with built-in flexibility to meet your specific needs and budgets.
We are also happy to supply and implement a planned preventative maintenance package in order to achieve measurable plant and cost improvements.
We provide a 24-Hour Maintenance service for repairs and breakdowns, you will know all too well the expensive premiums some operators charge for call-out services and the resulting work they carry out. Tecker is proud to have launched a 24-hour maintenance package that not only helps you budget effectively, but provides peace of mind at a cost you can afford.
Commissioning and Optimisation Services
With vast experience of commissioning in the process industries, Tecker is able to bring skills and expertise to both large and small projects.
To help improve your process plant we also provide a Measuring Equipment Calibration and Testing service. A highly underestimated and important part of your processing power is the calibration of all your measuring equipment. This not only helps in correctly measuring your production process but controls the quality of your products, therefore increasing the profitability of your business.
ATEX, DSEAR and Hazardous Areas
As part of our ATEX directive and DSEAR compliance services we can inspect and report on the integrity and suitability status of all your applicable equipment in the hazardous area.
The inspections are carried out in accordance with BS EN 60079-17 and are completed by competent and CompEx-approved engineers. All inspections are backed up by a detailed safety inspection report including recommendations for safety improvements where necessary. Minor repairs and corrections can be carried out during inspection (with prior approval) and will be fully documented in the inspection report.
All work is fully guaranteed to comply with the requirements of DSEAR. Where no equipment inventory is present we can provide this as part of our inspection service thereby optimising the process for subsequent periodic inspections.
We can carry out all types of inspection including visual, close and detailed and can also assist you in determining the most appropriate and cost effective inspection solutions for your workplace whilst still ensuring that the minimum requirements for legislative compliance and safety are achieved.
Machinery Safety
Tecker offer an all encompassing machinery safety service and can take a machine from initial risk assessment to full compliance including CE Marking, safety audits to relevant legislation and the supply and installation of relevant safety products such as guarding, relays and interlocks.
All machinery must be suitable for purpose, maintained in a safe condition and inspected periodically. To fully understand the nature of the risks posed by machinery and to compile the documentation required it is necessary to have specialist knowledge.
Tecker provide a range of services to assist customers meet their obligations; in addition to safety system design, installation and commissioning, Tecker engineers can carry out plant assessments, risk assessments, periodic inspections, installation inspections and safety system validation.
