Tecker Ltd, is an established company with expertise and significant capability in Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Engineering disciplines.  From its operational base in the South West of England, the Company provides a range of technical services centred on the design, manufacture, installation commissioning and maintenance of both low and high level technologies, specialising primarily in the water industry and in industrial process control.

Tecker was founded in 1988 by its present Managing Director to provide a specialist control engineering service.  Its objective was to satisfy the demands of its customers for modern, complex, process control systems.  Tecker grew steadily and in the early 1990s diversified into the design, supply and build of control systems to a variety of industries.  Over the last 3 or 4 years, our capability in these engineering disciplines has been enhanced by expertise in civil engineering and building.  This enables us to manage and deliver complete solutions as “Turnkey” packages, taking overall responsibility as a single service provider to our clients.

The Company’s excellent reputation has been built on its ability to design, engineer and implement technically competent, cost effective solutions to engineering challenges.  It fully utilises the capability and experience of its highly skilled and multi-disciplined workforce, encouraging initiative and lateral thought at all stages of project design and implementation.

A key strength is our ability to develop and install systems tailored to the demands of particular applications.  We are often able to propose and implement solutions that offer significant savings over proprietary systems or alternatives.  Our in-depth technical knowledge and practical experience of process plant, mechanical, electrical and control engineering systems, combined with motivation and ability in “Value Engineering”, enables us to develop exactly what our client needs and frequently exceed their expectations. We have found that this philosophy works well within a “Partnering” framework and have good experience and an excellent track record of producing first class value for our Clients in this way.

Tecker now employs 140+ permanent staff with additional contract employees as required and is equipped to handle contracts varying in size and complexity from small, highly specialised individual control panels to complete process plant installations.  Our staff includes a team of highly skilled ICA technicians, electricians and mechanical fitters, all selected for their extensive expertise, ensuring that the highest engineering standards are maintained.
